Titre du document: Document title:Anti-trafficking policy formulation in Georgia - Policy network analysis
Description:
This thesis focuses on the example of one country, namely Georgia, and its position in the fight against trafficking in human beings. The thesis employs a qualitative research strategy and a case study research design. As a developing country, Georgia greatly depends on assistance from various stakeholders from the international community and local civil society. Thus, the thesis examines a network of cooperation for the formulation of anti-trafficking policy with the help of foreign governments, international organizations and local non-governmental organizations. The conclusions drawn from the conducted research can be summarized as follows: anti-trafficking policy is a specific policy area where issue experts having knowledge about various aspects of this phenomenon count as much as establishments possessing political, economic and organizational power

Titre du document: Document title:Towards a European policy concerning child sex tourism: Reality or Rhetoric?
Description:
The research has shown that child sex tourism is quite a complex phenomenon related to a variety of different policy domains. Like O'Connell Davidson (2004) says: it is an anomalous form of movement. It is related to trafficking for the purpose of sexual exploitation and child pornography. It often happens through organised crime groups. The travelling component is important and here the link with tourism becomes clear.

Titre du document: Document title:Promoting human rights norms through prevention, protection, and prosecution in Armenia
Description:
A thesis presented to the faculty of the Center for International Studies of Ohio University In partial fulfillment of the requirements for the degree Master of Arts Marina Solakhyan June. Trafficking in human beings, in particular trafficking of women for sexual exploitation, including forced prostitution, has received attention because of the horrible stories about the sexual slavery which came to public attention. Overall trafficking is related to imbalances between rich and poor countries and to the new 'iron curtain', which allows poor people from EU member states to work in rich EU member states, but does not allow for persons of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to do the same.

Titre du document: Document title:Global monitoring report on the status of action against commercial sexual exploitation of children - Togo
Description:
The Agenda for action against commercial sexual exploitation of children provides a detailed framework and categories of actions to be taken by governments in partnership and other relevant actors for combating commercial sexual crimes against children. Broadly, these actions are focused on : coordination and cooperation, prevention, recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration, child participation. The Agenda for action is thus the formal and guiding structure used by governments that have adopted it and committed to work against CSEC. In Togo, the CSEC has not been appropriately acknowledged by the Government as a problem affecting the country and, as such, Togo has not developed a national plan of action to combat the various forms of CSEC. The Government, as well as international organisations, needs to acknowledge that the commercial sexual exploitation of children is a serious child rights issue in the country and must devote the necessary resources to develop and implement a National Plan of Action to Eliminate CSEC.

Titre du document: Document title:Le trafic d'enfants à des fins sexuelles - repenser notre approche
