Titre du document: Document title:Global monitoring report on the status of action against commercial sexual exploitation of children - India
Description:
The Agenda for action against commercial sexual exploitation of children provides a detailed framework and categories of actions to be taken by governments in partnership and other relevant actors for combating commercial sexual crimes against children. Broadly, these actions are focused on : coordination and cooperation, prevention, recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration, child participation. The Agenda for action is thus the formal and guiding structure used by governments that have adopted it and committed to work against CSEC. In India, the Plan of Action to combat trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation of women and children was adopted, then wasprepared a National Plan of Action for Children (2005). A State Advisory Committees must be made functional in all States to allow for the effective implementation of India's Plan of Action to Combat Trafficking and Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Women and Children. Action planning at state level should also be expedited. The budget allocated for NPA implementation at both levels must be increased.

Titre du document: Document title:International key issues in crime prevention and criminal justice
Description:
In celebration of 25 years of HEUNI (European institute for crime prevention and control), who work closely with the United Nations, on restorative justice, alternatives to imprisonment, juvenile justice, persons in custody, as well as norms and standards, the scope of their activities is broad, and today's challenges are very different from those of 1981, because nowaday Europeis practically united. In the vision of a borderless Nordic area, the Nordic countries would accept the exercise of a public authority by other countries authorities on their own territory. The Nordic area could serve to an even greater extent as a model and take on even more of a leading role in the corresponding work within the European Union.

Titre du document: Document title:The Intersystem Assessment on Prostitution in Chicago
Description:
This report illustrates Chicago's current response to the sex trade industry, describes how current response strategies could be enhanced, and identifies where new response strategies are needed. The recommendations discussed above reflect the complexity of this issue and the tensions that arise in our response strategies when individuals are both victims and perpetrators of crime. Local and national research illustrates the far-reaching impact of the sex trade industry on individuals, families, and communities, and proves that this issue can no longer be ignored or dismissed as a victimless crime.

Individuals who are involved in the sex trade are members of our communities and deserve access to options and resources that help increase their overall safety, well being, and ability to exit the sex trade industry safely.

Titre du document: Document title:Global monitoring report on the status of action against commercial sexual exploitation of children - Italy
Italy has not developed a specific National Plan of action against CSEC. The National Plan of Action on the Protection of the Rights and Development of Children at a Formative Age, operational since 2000, includes some provisions on CSEC. However, itsimplementation has been limited by a lack of sufficient funds. New challenges raised by commercial sexual exploitation of children - in particular the involvement of young people in the exchange of sexual services for money, as well as the prostitution of foreign boys - need to be addressed by the Government as well as NGOs through specially tailored programmes, as a matter of urgency. The existing national plans that contain provisions related to CSEC must be reviewedand updated, with adequate resources allocated for their implementation. In addition, a specific NPA against CSEC must be developed.
