Titre du document: Document title:Glossaire de la migration
Description:

Titre du document: Document title:Trafficked women: Inadequate time for psychological recovery Greece
Description:
For women who are recognised as "victims of trafficking" by the Greek authorities, available protection and assistance comes at a price: they must "cooperate with the authorities". Despite the physical and psychological stresses they may have experienced, these women are offered a period of only one month to decide whether to testify against suspected traffickers. An extension of the time for reflection would allow trafficked women a more adequate period of time receive assistance and recover from their ordeal, as well as make an informed decision as to whether to cooperate with the authorities in criminal proceedings. Amnesty International supports the goal of prosecuting those involved in the trafficking of people, but believes that these goals can be accomplished whilst supporting victims of trafficking and allowing more time for a women to decide freely as to whether to assist in a prosecution.

Titre du document: Document title:Trafficking women and children for sexual exploitation - Handbook for law enforcement agencies in India
Description:
This handbook is the outcome of experience and understanding of an officer, Mr. P.M. Nair, who is perhaps the best judge to know exactly what is required to evolve an understanding and sensitivity that can guide our Law Enforcement Agencies in India. While this is a book to consultwhen officers need to apply existing laws, it is as much an orientation that takes one through the processes involved in trafficking, available legalities, scope of existing laws and sensitized application of the same.

Titre du document: Document title:How Canada allows its convicted sex offenders to freely travel abroad
Description:
Canadian courts should be able to impose "foreign travel orders" upon anyone for whom there are reasonable grounds to fear that they will sexually abuse a child overseas. The foreign travel of anyone listed on the national sex offender registry for committing a sexual offence against a child should be carefully monitored, and the foreign authorities of any country that they plan to visit should be notified. Anyone listed on the national sex offender registry for committing a sexual offence against a child should be prohibited from travelling to child sex tourism "hot spots".
