This research paper is the first publication of a global strategy, which comprises three general objectives: to improve the protection of child victims of trafficking, to prevent child trafficking and to reduce crime by gaining a better understanding of this problem. The project began by collecting data on current knowledge regarding children who are victims of trafficking and on the preventative, protective, reintegration and prosecution measures. Then, concerned parties at the local, regional and provincial levels were given the opportunity to share information about their practices and experiences as well as express their concerns and needs. This document has been translated from French by TTPSP (Montreal, Canada).
