Description:
 The poverty of Uganda, combined with a post-conflict environment, are factors that help to create favourable conditions for trafficking and the sexual exploitation of children. Research conducted in 2011 suggests that the incidents and number of victims of the commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) have increased and the age at which children get involved in CSEC has decreased.
