Description:
 In this report, the Special Rapporteur acknowledges the country's commitment and progress in combating trafficking in persons, and highlights shortcomings in legislation and enforcement, particularly regarding lack of recognition of trafficking for labour exploitation. She welcomes the proposed amendments to the federal anti-trafficking law as well as the drafting of a new law for domestic workers.
