Description:
 The author consider the proposed legislation in New Zealand is more dangerous to the Human Rights of prostituted women than the legislation in either Victoria or New South Wales. If the New Zealand proposed Prostitution Reform Bill is passed, a massive prostitution industry will develop and it will be very difficult to adopt a more progressive policy such as the Swedish model in the future. The decriminalisation proposed in New Zealand, through the removal of any regulatory mechanisms or policing of an industry which constitutes the exploitation of poverty, sexual abuse, homelessness, drug dependence and powerlessness, creates conditions extremely dangerous to the human rights of women and girls.
