 This survey examines the effects of the introduction of legalised sex work by questioning sex workers, clients and members of communities where prostitution exists. It finds that the new legislation protects sex workers in legal brothels, but needs strengthening to help improve the working conditions of street-based sex workers. The document also asserts that clients tend to be single and seeking a variety of sensory experiences (including drug use). The community members questioned tend to support the regulation of legalised sex work as long as prostitution-related activities are not visible in public.
