 The aim of the research was to find out who the client actually is, what are his motivations for seeking prostitution, how he perceives his relationship with the prostitute, how sensitive he is to the signs of trafficking in human beings, what he knows about the phenomenon and last, but not least, to what extent he would be willing to act, if he encountered it. The methodology of the pilot survey in two localities of the Czech Republic : West-Bohemia (Plzen region) and South-Moravia (South-Moravia region) : was chosen for the research.
