 GRETA welcomes the independent evaluation of the implementation of the State Action Plan for 2008-2012, which served for preparing a draft anti-trafficking strategy and the future state action plan, submitted to the Council of Ministers for adoption. That said, GRETA stresses the importance of ensuring the adequate involvement of and co-ordination among authorities at the entity and cantonal levels in the implementation of the State Action Plan. Further, GRETA considers that the competent authorities should involve more effectively civil society in the discussion and elaboration of antitrafficking policies and should encourage their participation in the work of the anti-trafficking public bodies.
