 Over the last decade, a strategic framework for fighting corruption has been evolving in the Czech Republic. Persistent problems related to the misuse of public funds, public procurement and other interactions between business and the public sector have been noted, both by EU institutions supervising the use of European financial support and others. Ongoing attempts to put in place legislation on the civil service have not been finalised so far.
