 The main objectives of the seminar were: to present the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings as an efficient tool for combating trafficking in human beings by means of its multi-disciplinary approach incorporating measures for preventing trafficking, protecting the human rights of victims and prosecuting traffickers ; to present and discuss measures and actions against trafficking in human beings taken at national level by the participating countries, in particular in the light of the multi-disciplinary measures of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings.
