Description:
 An understanding of the current reality of sex work and the situation of sex workers in Europe
is critical to strengthening HIV prevention in sex work settings across Europe. The TAMPEP
mapping of sex work and migration in Europe represents the results and analysis of the
quantitative and qualitative data gathered by network members in 2005 and 2006. It identifies
trends and tendencies in relation to the changing patterns of sex work and the living and
working conditions of female and transgender sex workers within Europe. In addition it
provides an overview of sex work migration patterns across Europe and the impact of the
enlargement of the European Union.
