 There is an overall strategic aim to remove street prostitution from Ipswich. A small working group of representatives from the Prostitution Steering Group have developed the Ipswich Crime and Disorder Reduction Partnership Street Prostitution Strategy 2007. A clear strategic plan has been devised to tackle the issue of street prostitution across the county. This will be accomplished within the current legislative framework. There are five key areas contained within the strategy : identifying the problem, developing routes out, tackling demand, prevention, community intelligence.
