 Since the second World Congress in Yokohama in 2001, the idea of corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become widespread, triggering a wide spectrum of projects,initiatives and new ways of working by companies.The purpose of this paper is to describe the potential of CSR to address SEC, based on an analysis of SEC and the role of the private sector connected with it.
