 Human trafficking is a high profit, low risk crime for traffickers. Responding to human trafficking therefore requires a balanced approach that is based on enforcing the law against the traffickers and protecting the human rights of trafficked victims.The workshop 007 Vienna Forum to fight human trafficking (13-15 February 2008) focuses on a victim centred approach as a key to increasing the effectiveness of criminal justice responses to human trafficking.
