The present article discusses the thoughts and analyzes on the possibilities of progress and challenges of Public Policies on Dealing with Sexual Exploitation in the context of children's and adolescents' rights violation.It examines the efforts of governments and society to build interventions in the context of Public Policies, focus on the principle of defense of the human rights, of universality, of participatory and decentralized management through integrated and intersectoral practices. The challenge is to understand such points as essential the change of making progress toward democracy, as a strategy to consolidate the protection of children's and adolescent's rights in violence situations, exploitation, negligence and discrimination. The progress listed here moves in the perspective of making these policies more integrated and truly intersectoral. For these results, the issue was approached by the aspect of the complexity of sexual exploitation problems and consequently, the need for an integrated and transdiciplinary look. The analytical path was guided by the assumption that the current configuration is the result from the historical trajectory of Social Policies in the world and by the need of taking the sexual exploitation of children and adolescents, as a public matter and guide the topic to the National States. |
