 The author give a baseline analysis of the book "The Second oldest profession" by Dr Ben Reitman (1931). Reitman's entire analysis of the pimp-prostitute relationship is built on the prostituted woman's moral bankruptcy, biological predisposition, and/or mental deficiency. He calls the attention to the "fact" that a prostitute is a definite type.
