 This study addresses the situation of physical and humiliating punishment, sexual abuse and exploitation, and organized armed violence. In its first stage of research, the study intends to respond to two questions: 1. How can children and adolescents exercise their right to participate directly in strategies to prevent all forms of violence? 2. How can children and adolescents who have suffered some form of violence be involved in designing strategies and interventions, while being prevented from exposure to violence, re-victimisation and/or stigma? Save the Children Sweden presents the result of a research that culminated in the preparation of a conceptual framework referring to the promotion of the protagonists and the meaningful participation of children and adolescents exposed to violence. It is worth mentioning that children and adolescents have participated in the different stages of this study.
