 This document is based on the thematic paper of the World Congress III against Sexual Exploitation of Children and Adolescents, « Private Sector Accountability in Combating the Commercial Sexual Exploitation of Children », written by Mark E. Hecht .The purpose of this document is to explore the private sector's responsibility in the respect of human rights .It examines the different sources of international laws, and every specific field of the private sector that is or could be involved in the fight against sexual exploitation. The Private Sector includes companies that are not owned by the government. (Government owned companies are known as the 'public sector').
