The round-table created a new platform for developing co-operation between the Council of Europe, OSCE and the CIS. The present publication of proceedings of the round-table provides a rich source of information and a collection of good practices and continuing challenges in the fight against human trafficking. It should contribute to increasing the number of signatures and ratifications of the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings and the implementation of the OSCE anti-trafficking commitments.
