Description:
 The Special Rapporteur highlights the country's strong commitment to combating trafficking in persons, as evidenced by the high level of government engagement and effective partnership developed with civil society organizations. She recognizes, however, that statistics on trafficking do not appear to account for the true nature and scale of the problem. Acknowledging the important support programme for trafficked persons, she expresses concerns regarding gaps in some services offered.
