 Ethical principles provide guidance in protecting the human rights and wellbeing of trafficked persons and must be strictly adhered to at all times. Re/ integration interventions and policies must pay close attention to the primacy of human rights; they should never, in any way, infringe on the rights and well-being of trafficked persons. Ethical principles are needed to underpin all re/integration efforts to ensure quality of care and to guarantee that the human rights of beneficiaries are respected and promoted.
