 Human trafficking is exploitation or the intent to exploit. In fact it covers all labour or services which are performed under duress, in the widest sense of the word, and which people have not chosen to do voluntarily. Human trafficking and exploitation may be accompanied by poor working and living conditions though not always. The National Rapporteur on Trafficking in Human Beings and Sexual Violence against Children reports on the nature and scale of human trafficking and sexual violence against children in the Netherlands.
