Description:
 The Slovenian authorities have taken a number of steps to prevent and combat trafficking in human beings. In addition to the criminalisation of human trafficking, provisions pertaining to the rights of victims of trafficking have been introduced in a number of legal acts. Further, a National Co-ordinator has been appointed and national action plans for combating trafficking have been drafted and implemented by the Inter-ministerial Working Group for Combating Trafficking in Human Beings since 2004.
