 This paper focuses on gender-based violence against women and girls of concern to the Office of the UNHCR, i.e. refugees, asylumseekers,stateless, and those otherwise potentially in need of international protection. In this context, UNHCR reiterates its call to the EU institutions to adopt a broad policy framework for tackling gender-based violence against women and girls in the EU, beyond existing targeted actions.
