Description:
 Concerning prevention of trafficking, no specific awareness-raising activity or measures to discourage demand have been carried out in San Marino so far. A number of interlocutors have referred to the possible vulnerability to trafficking of domestic workers and private carers for elderly and disabled persons, who live in the households where they work. GRETA considers that the San Marinese authorities should raise awareness of trafficking and the different forms of exploitation involved, both among the general public and among professionals likely to come into contact with victims of trafficking.
