 In the present report, the Special Rapporteur highlights the efforts of the
Government in combating trafficking in children, including through the ratification
of international and regional instruments and the adoption of a multisectoral
approach to combating trafficking in persons. The Special Rapporteur expresses
concerns with regard to, inter alia, the absence of legal and policy frameworks as
well as of targeted policies and institutions to prevent and combat trafficking in
persons.
