 The demand for victims to be used for commercial sex acts can be divides into 4 components : men ; profiteers (traffickers, pimps, supporting corrupt officials) ; the State, because there are a number of ways that the State contributes to or accomodates the demand for victims ; the Culture, that indirectely creates a demand for victims by sexualizing children and normalizing prostitution.A balance approach to combating sex trafficking and prostitution requires focusing on both the supply and the demand side of these problems, in both sending and receiving countries
