Description:
 An important aim of this conference was to discuss the legal status of victims of trafficking, before, during and after criminal proceedings. Special attention was given to assistance and protection measures that will have to be provided to child victims of trafficking. The practical measures of victim assistance and protection are all too rarely tailored to the practical needs of children. The results of the conference are included in the presentations and papers of that conference.
