 This article focuses on the trade originating in Ukraine. It examines the scope of the problem, the factors that create a climate ripe for trafficking, the methods traffickers use, and the people who profit from the trade in women and girls. It concludes with some strategies to address the problem of trafficking nd discusses the role that policy-makers, researchers, and law enforcement officers in the United States can play.
