 These instructions should help to create a database serving as a tool of countryside to protect the children against sexual and commercial exploitation, in Central America, more especially in Costa Rica, Guatemala and in Honduras. To take measures against sexual exploitation of the children is important, but as much to evaluate the impact of these measurements on the development of the protection of the children. The creation of a database should contribute to the prevention of sex tourism concerning the children; to facilitate the exchange of information between the various authorities and the local police, in the countries of destination and of reception; to sensitize the public; to have reliable data on the countries which apply the existing laws and to promote a better application of the laws in the others.
