 In March 2005, Anti-Slavery International, CICA, IEPALA, MLAL Progetto Mondo and OIKOS took part in a two-day conference held at the Fundação Caolouste Gulbenkian in Lisbon, Portugal. They addressed the current trafficking and migration situation in their respective countries, actions taken by their governments and policies they would like implemented. They also invited their global partners to present papers on various topics relating to the conference theme, "Trafficking of Human Beings and Migration: A Human Rights Approach”. This report is a summary of information made available during the conference in Lisbon.
