 The General Assembly adopted the resolution 59/166, recalling all previous resolutions on the problem of trafficking in women and girls adopted by the General Assembly and the Commission on Human Rights, including their reaffirmation of the principles set forth in relevant human rights instruments and declarations, as well as the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of the Child on the sale of children, child prostitution and child Pornography. The optional Protocol to the Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women, and the Convention for the suppression of the traffic in persons and of the exploitation of the prostitution of others
