 The Agenda for action against commercial sexual exploitation of children provides a detailed framework and categories of actions to be taken by governments in partnership and other relevant actors for combating commercial sexual crimes against children. Broadly, these actions are focused on : coordination and cooperation, prevention, recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration, child participation. The Agenda for action is thus the formal and guiding structure used by governments that have adopted it and committed to work against CSEC. Canada does not have a national plan of action that specially targets commercial sexual exploitation of children. Canada must comply with the commitment it assumed by adopting the Stockholm Declaration and Agenda for Action and develop a National Plan of Action against CSEC. Despite its federal structure of government, Canada should develop a plan that allows each province to adapt it as necessary.
