The Agenda for action against commercial sexual exploitation of children provides a detailed framework and categories of actions to be taken by governments in partnership and other relevant actors for combating commercial sexual crimes against children. Broadly, these actions are focused on : coordination and cooperation, prevention, recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration, child participation. The Agenda for action is thus the formal and guiding structure used by governments that have adopted it and committed to work against CSEC. In Czec Republic, the current NPA, covering the period of 2004-2006, seeks to reinforce the measures stipulated in the previous plan (2002-2004). But, the Czech Republic must ratify the main international instruments relevant to CSEC, and should also sign and ratify the Council of Europe's Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings. Czech law should be amended to define child prostitution in light of the standards. |
