The Agenda for action against commercial sexual exploitation of children provides a detailed framework and categories of actions to be taken by governments in partnership and other relevant actors for combating commercial sexual crimes against children. Broadly, these actions are focused on : coordination and cooperation, prevention, recovery, rehabilitation and reintegration, child participation. The Agenda for action is thus the formal and guiding structure used by governments that have adopted it and committed to work against CSEC. Zambia does not have a National Plan of Action against CSEC, but has a National Plan of Action for Children, which was prepared over ten years ago. Development of a NPA against CSEC is urgently required. Resources for its implementation and coordination must be designated as a priority.. |
