Description:
|
n the framework of consolidating knowledge on commercial sexual exploitation of children (CSEC) in the CIS region (Commonwealth of Independent States), and in order to guide ECPAT's strategies and priority actions for the protection of children, ECPAT International collaborated with its affiliate members in Belarus, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine to document evidence on the sexual exploitation of children through the use of ICTs in the region, especially the production and distribution of child sexual abuse images. This regional report, based on literature reviews and detailed case analyses, explores the risks for children to be increasingly sexually exploited in relation to the development of ICTs in the region.
