 This assessment is intended to take the reader, without preamble or conclusion, through the processes which the rescued Bangladeshi child undergoes. While the opportunities and challenges are identified within the text, the recommendations are separate. While many recommendations are of specific detail that might not directly apply to general bilateral agreements, they do provide guidelines to address specific issues related to the well-being of the child. We can hope that the coming bilateral meetings will lead to concrete actions that directly improve children's lives as well as creating general harmony between India and Bangladesh.
