 This report analyzes the results of a baseline and training needs assessment survey and in‐depth consultations with key stakeholders on trafficking in persons and people smuggling in Papua New Guinea. The three objectives of the survey were to provide a preliminary overview on the indicators of trafficking in persons and people smuggling in the four project provinces in PNG, to assess the training needs of law enforcement and protection trafficking stakeholders in PNG, to provide baseline data in support of the need for the People Smuggling and Trafficking in Persons Bill.
