 The purpose of these guidelines is to offer tools to improve and harmonize the methods and procedures for the first level of identification of victims of trafficking in the European Union (EU), in order to ensure equal treatment of victims in the EU privacy. Harmonized procedures will also help to strengthen cooperation between the participating States in the field of the fight against trafficking in human beings human. These lines have been established from the report on the identification of the victims.
