 This Convention of the Council of Europe on the fight against trafficking in human beings humans came into force on 1 February 2008, it applies to all forms of trafficking - national or transnational - linked or not to organised crime, to all victims of trafficking (women, men and children), all forms of exploitation (sexual exploitation, labour or forced services(, slavery, servitude, removal of organs, etc.).
